Happy Mother's Day

Today, and this whole weekend to be honest, has been pretty relaxing. I was able to sleep in both days (but didn't mean to yesterday). I took a big nap yesterday and had a catnap today. Saturday must be explained away as a muscle spasm requiring medication. I'm still feeing twinges today. Boo to that! We also ran errands yesterday.

My wonderful man made me my breakfast choice of strawberry and chocolate chip pancakes. Ivy gave me some sweet little gifts too! A photo book from this past year with pictures of the three of us and a new bottle of nail polish. I think someone recognizes my near-obsession.

Both days we spent some time at one of the local parks where Ivy played until she wore herself out. She sure has been touchy-feely lately. I love to snuggle with her! The funniest thing... Today she just pushed her hand through the bottom of my shirt sleeve to the neck and just stayed there. Skin on skin contact was needed, I guess. She also used to slide her hands down my "fugg" boots during the winter.

What a cutie!
